Which gas for aluminium and s/ssteel

Hi,great site.
I like doing work on my boat and most of the work is s/s or alloy.

Is there a gas I can use to tig both metals.

I already have one bottle on hire for my mig and another two would be just to much.$$$$$

argon is the most versatile and will work for both stainless and aluminum.

i like to use a helium argon mix on aluminum thicker than .063" but its not absolutely necessary.


in short....just use argon
