what temperature should i use in a 6g weld test and wire speed

---------------------------------------------------

i am going to have to assume a lot here since you didnt give much info...

assuming you are talking about carbon steel and 6 inch schedule 80 pipe beveled to a 37.5 deg bevel with a 1/8" gap, and using .035 bare er70s6 with 75/25 argon/co2,
root pass downhill, fill passes uphill,

i am assuming a lot , but that is the only way to give an answer here...

root pass = voltage at around 17-18 wire speed around 200 ipm

fill passes = voltage around 19 and wire speed around 225-240 ipm

hope this helps a little,

jody
