Like your site alot. Just found it today. As far as Tunsten Sharpeners go, you are right on the mark. Some will catch the dust and that's a good thing but for the average guy they are over-kill. Having a repeatble tungsten grind for machine applications is critical but not for most manual jobs. Arc length during manual welding will have a far greater effect than different grind angles.
I have found that few welders understand how grind angle affects the geometry of the weld puddle and the depth of penetration.
