you need an AC/DC TIG welder and it needs to be set to AC

pure argon is the best gas for 99% of TIG welding aluminum

you need aluminum filler wire and 4043 is the most versatile type and 3/32" is a very useful diameter

2% lanthanated tungsten is a good all around choice for tig welding aluminum because it also works great on steels.  start with 3/32"

before trying to weld anything that matters, start by welding practice  beads on scrap aluminum until you can weld a uniform bead consistently.
