using 220volt 60 hz welding AC DC machine on 220v 50 hz electricity

I AM BUYING AC/DC MACHINE THAT WELDS ALUMINUM AND STAINLESS AND SO ON
THE WELDER IS 220VOLT 60 HZ USA CANADA
I AM USING
220 VOLTS 50 HZ LIKE IN EUROPE
PLZ GIVE ME ADVISE I KNOW IT IS A TOUGH QUESTION
BUT I DONT WANT TO WAIST 1000$ AND TIME AND HASSLE

Since I have never done this myself, I dont have a valuable opinion.

I just searched a few welding forums and it seems like its commonly done...some say the welder will have a measure of reduced capacity on 50 hz.

i would search welding forums like weldingweb.com to see if others have done it with a comparable unit.

anyone else got something to contribute?
