Stick welding thin sheet metal (22ga. and thicker)with 3/32 6011.
Get a 1/4" thick copper buss bar and a lot of C-clamps. C-clamp the joint together with the copper buss bar on the back side of the joint. This will act as a heat sink and will allow you to run the rod hotter without blowing holes. This is especially helpful on galvanized material. If you weld thin stuff you can't have too many c-grips.
