Can you explain to me how the tig welding process works i am just a 16 year old trying to learn
---------------------------------------------------
the short answer is it works like a gas welding torch except that instead of a flame, there is a tungsten electrode that provides the heat source.
argon gas is used to protect the weld puddle from oxidation.
a foot pedal amperage control is an option on some tig welders that is like a gas pedal in a car and you press for more amperage and that gives more control.
