7014 Stick electrodes are rated for welding on all polarity settings
When you need a fairly large fillet weld and you also want a nice smooth weld 7014 rods are great for that.
they lay down more metal than a 6013 with less chance of slag inclusions.
Even using a AC buzz box welder works great with 7014
