90 amps is a pretty good setting for most brands of 3/32" 7018.
Some brands like Lincoln Excalibur might run better at 95 amps.
7018 rods are mostly used on Direct Current electrode Positive, DCEP aka Reverse polarity

DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS ELECTRODES REQUIRE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT AMPERAGE SETTINGS.ANY SUCCESSFUL DEMONSTRATION DISPLAYING AMPERAGE SHOULD GET YOU IN THE BALL PARK.TWEAK AMPS FROM THAT POINT AND ADJUST ARC CONTROL TO FIT THE SITUATION
