Stainless stick pipe

I'm having trouble with the cap on my 6g stainless stick pipe. My foreman wants me to run two stringers on the cap instead of weaving. The stringers are coming out terrible, looks like sausages. Could you help with the amperage and technique, Please?

Stainless stick wants to drip on the bottom and lay flat on the top...thats a bad combination,

setting the machine just hot enough to hold a tight arc without sticking the rod seems to help.

light up and hold a long arc for just a second before tightening it up and getting moving in a series of small cursive e's.

it takes some seat time too. the best thing is to get someone who is good at it to show you a pass or two.
