prep. stainless tubing

by Johnny

Can I get a little advise on how I should prep. stainless tubing for a aircraft exhaust assembly?

----------------------------------------------------
pay attention to getting a good fit

back purge all welds

if it is new stainless and clean, no real surface prep is required.

321 and 347 are the most commonly used stainless for aircraft tubing and are usually welded with 347 filler

snip the end of the wire every time it gets oxidized

use as large a gas lens cup as practical

stop every inch and let cool

good luck
