I prefer a small bench grinder (6 or 8 inch) that is dedicated for tungsten. The tungsten is chucked in a cheap electric drill. Position the tungsten against the grinder stone edge with light pressure. You have a polished taper with minimal grind marks that are lengthwise. Works great for me.
Return to tungsten sharpeners.
