over 60 and blind

Hey; I am over 60 and I have a hard time seeing my weld joint,
Is there anything that I can do that would help.
I have a 9/13 autodarking helment and I have tried all setting but nothing seems to help.

I just got a tip from another reader saying he tries dollar store reading glasses of different ratings until he finds what works for him.

also , make sure your lens is clean.

if that doesnt work, i would say try an old school helmet with a 9 or 10 lens.
