How can I MIG Weld a 3/8 inch plate using solid wire and pass the bend test?

Thats a really broad question but here are a few tips...


1. stay on the front of the puddle.

2. if this is short circuit mig, use a short stickout ...3/8" is good

3. snip the wire before every start.

4. set the machine hot enough
