Kobe 7016 rod welding procedure

Do you have a set of guidelines for pipe gap, rod angle, heat, etc to help learn how to weld using Kobe 7016 rods so I can pass a 6 G pipe test?

I dont have a set of guidelines and I just spent an hour searching for something but came up empty.

so here is my two cents...

3/32" rod

3/32" - 1/8" gap, 3/32" - 1/8"land

keep a tight arc going up on the sidewalls as necessary to keep from key holing too much.

takes lots of practice.
