Keeping things square

As the tack welds cool the parts we carefully positioned usually move. This can be a real problem as there is usually no clearance to reposition the parts and the tack must be cut or breaks. To solve this I place two pieces of mig wire between the two parts. This provides enough clearance and the wire will flatten before the tack breaks as the parts are brought back in position.
