how long should it take for an average welder to stick weld a 2" schedule 80 stainless steel pipe with a wall thickness of 1/4"

loaded question...
in a pipe vise it might only take an hour or two even letting cool between passes.
in a ditch or up under a tank lying on the floor would take twice as long.
