how do i get a good cover pass using fcaw?

I'm welding overhead with fcaw tubular wire no gas. I'm having trouble with my cover pass. I can't get a good flat bead.

look at the wire and then go to the manufacturers web site and search for parameters for the diameter you are using. I have learned that most manufacturers of filler metal go to great trouble to list good settings.
