help with mig root beed

what would be the best way to run a mig root bead in 12" pipe .375-.500 wall,6G pos.?

i would say a 37.5 degree bevel on each side with a very small land less than 1/16" and a 1/8" gap.

voltage on about 17 and wire speed around 210 if you are using .035" wire and 75/25 ar/co2 gas.

slight side to side motions tying in the walls and stay as far in front as you dare without shooting whiskers.

maintain constant drag angle as you go.

keep stickout close and vary when you need to if it acts too hot, lengthen the stickout, otherwise keep it to around 1/2"
