help with flux core settings
what gas replaces flux in MIG welding?
----------------------------------------------------
For most applications , its 75/25 argon/co2
straight co2 can also be used but its too hot for thin auto body type work.
for heavier duty machines, sometimes gases like 90/10 argon/co2 or 98/2 argon/oxygen are used for really hot mig welding that is called spray transfer.
