I am curious about the Fluxed Cored Arc Welding procedure. Actually, what is the usual step in doing the fluxed cored arc welding?? Any techniques?? Any specific method?
---------------------------------------------------
flux cored arc welding is kind of like stick welding except for not having to continually keep the arc short as the rod burns off.
similar techniques can be used to what works with welding with a 7018 arc stick welding electrode.
stickout and gun angle matter a lot.
usually about 3/4" stickout and a 90 degree gun angle work well.
a slight weave works along with several other techniques.
