Enclosed Car Hauler

I thoroughly appreciate your web site. I have learned a great deal from you. I am considering building an enclosed car carrier (aluminum). What alloy or alloys would be best for strength and reliability having been welded by an armature welder with medium skills? Safety is my biggest concern. I have a Syncrowave 250 and A millermatic 250 with a spool gun.

Its hard to say not knowing any more than i do about your project. Generally, people often use 6061 t6 for the structure and 3003 h14 for the skin.
