Get yourself a big old file, 1"+ Wide by about 1/4" thick. Lightly grind off the teeth on one side to let it slide. Sharpen the end with a slight angle like this \. You can just keep on sharpening it as it wears cause its hard all the way up. A weighted handle helps as well.
