Certification Bend Test

I am practicing for the AWS 3G and 4G SMAW test in 1/2" plate. I would like to build a jig for my hydraulic press to do the bend test on my practice coupons. Do you know what size mandrel I should be bending the plates around?

it varies with different welding code books but for 1/2" ...some codes use side bends 3/8" thick and then use a mandrel around 1 1/2"
