Balloon gas for welding?

I am keen to try some helium while tig welding Aluminium. The cheap option here seems to be a small bottle of "Balloon Gas" that is supposed to be for helium balloons for parties. Would that be pure enough for welding??

I am honestly not sure.

it might work. i used standard welding grade helium when mixing it with argon.

not sure how pure the balloon grade is.
sounds like it might be worth a try but if its not pure enough, you still may not have an answer as to whether to buy a bigger cylinder.
